I'm writing this blog post from my couch while shoveling popcorn into my face, but my heart is in Maui. Tyler and I used to be so smug about Hawaii. Neither of us had never been, and there were always just so many other places we’d rather go.

Tyler and I will always hold the Central Coast of California in a special place in our hearts. We went to school in San Luis Obispo where we were friends for years before we started dating our senior year.
Tyler and I have lived in the South Bay Area in California for almost four years now. We are very blessed with great jobs that have kept us in the Silicon Valley (at least for the time being).
I grew up going to the Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park areas every couple of summers. My dad would meticulously pack our camping gear into the back of his Ford Club Wagon, shuffle my mom, siblings, and me into the rows of bench seating, and then barrel up the I-15 to begin the three-day road trip to Wyoming.
We had a fabulous 3 days in Boston running around its brick-lined streets. Boston might be our favorite city in the U.S. now. We are obsessed.
