  • This weekend last year we celebrated Valentine’s Day in New York ❤️ I remember thinking I was sooo tired when we got home and blamed the long travel days and way too much @artichokepizza 🍕 Two days later I was sprawled out on my couch, feeling like crap and looking at pretty girls on Instagram when the thought flashed across my mind that I might be pregnant. I shooed it away but ended up being just bored enough waiting for Tyler to come that I decided to take a test just to get the thought out of my mind.   • I have never seen anything like the bond these two have already. The other day I was driving with Charlotte and she was in HYSTERICS in traffic on the freeway. Tyler called me and told me to put him on the car speaker and he started singing the Oompa Loompa song (“The Office” version about Dwight of course). She immediately stopped crying, and he repeated the verse over and over again for 15 minutes until we got home. She is completely obsessed with him, but I guess I always knew that would happen.   • We’ve held off on sharing this for a while but we decided it was time to announce that we bought a house and moved to San Diego this past fall!!   • Our day to day is just a *tiny* bit different around here than it was six months ago, but fortunately Char is pretty cute (see stories) so we don’t mind.   • I’ve never been a huge New Years resolution person, but the timing of Jan 1 coincided with being two months postpartum (stop growing Char!!!). I think I’m turning a corner both physically and emotionally (how INSANE is it to become a mom??). I am beginning to feel a lot more like myself again, so I’m actually really excited for the New Year. ⋅ ⋅ ⋅ While a lot of people have resolved to limit social media (and yes I need to slow down on scrolling the explore page too 🤣), one of my goals for 2019 is actually to be better about posting more- sharing about our little family and creating helpful travel content for Rome by the Hour.
